Hoogeerd is gelegen aan de oevers van de Maas, in het Land van Maas en Waal, tussen Oss en Nijmegen.

Ook om te fietsen is het Land van Maas en Waal ideaal: diverse fietsroutes voeren u door de unieke landschappen: de Maas- en Waaloevers, polders, dijken en bosgebieden.
Het populaire fietsknooppuntensysteem vindt u nu ook in deze regio. Het maken en fietsen van een route wordt op deze manier heel makkelijk. U bekijkt vooraf welke route u wilt fietsen, schrijft de nummers van de knooppunten op en volgt onderweg de borden die overal in het gebied staan. Bij de receptie van Hoogeerd vindt u de knooppuntenkaart welke u onderweg mee kunt nemen. Ter voorbereiding kunt u de kaarten ook gratis downloaden via de website www.lekkerfietsen.nl.
