The ruin of Batenburg

De history of the ruin, possessed by Geldersch Landschap en Geldersche Kasteelen, goes back to the 12th century, when a tower was built on a artificial hill. In centuries the tower was extended to a large castle. The castle went lost by an incendiarism by the French troups in 1794 and has never been rebuilt. At the end of the 80er years the castle was renovated, which was necessary for preservation. The biggest tower and the basement with loopholes are being kept and are covered well with greenery.

Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world.
